  11. Some thoughts about the announced sale of Amiga Technologies
  12. by ESCOM to VIScorp.

  14. VIScorp already had a deal with ESCOM to use Amiga chips in
  15. their coming set-top cable box.

  17. The press release says:
  18. "..... products that give home users capabilities such as telephone
  19. reception and dial-up capabilities, facsimile, video games,
  20. pay-per-view options, electronic mail, and access to on-linee
  21. services, including the Internet."

  23. That sure sounds like they intend to build machines which 
  24. use Amiga parts, and act a lot like computers.

  28. Sounds like an opportunity for Amiga developers.
